We aim to deliver a professional, prompt and personal service delivering your Certificate within 3 days of the inspection. For an additional charge we can deliver your certificate within 24 hours of the inspection. All of our Energy Performance Certificates are registered with Landmark, the governments database for EPC's and Energy Assessors. An EPC must be produced by a qualified and accredited energy assessor and the EPC also has to be registered on the Landmark EPC register.

UK law requires an EPC to be produced every time a home is marketed for sale or rent. This is a law that stems from the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. It says that EPC’s can only be produced by qualified and accredited experts.

An EPC is a measure of the property’s energy efficiency, and includes recommendations for improvements. We’ll undertake a short, non-invasive inspection of the property which usually takes around 1 hour to complete before producing the EPC using dedicated software.

For marketed sales, the EPC was included in the Home Information Pack (HIP). With the suspension of HIP’s, the EPC is still a legal requirement and is now a standalone document.
