Details needed from your property.

The information that we need to record to be able to produce an Energy Performance Certificate include

• Roof construction and loft insulation.
• Wall construction, thickness and insulation.
•  Floor construction and insulation.
• Heating and Hot water system.
• Heating controls.
• Glazing type and age.
• Low energy lighting.
• Total floor area and ceiling heights.
• Number of doors and draught proofing.

It can take from 30 to 60 minutes (depending on property size) to record all of this information when we visit your home. The Inspection is a non-invasive visual Inspection and we do need to take several photo’s as evidence of the information that is recorded.
